Carbon brushes are the wear parts that carry current into the armature – over time they shorten, glaze or lose their clean contact, which can lead to poor starting, loss of power and heavy sparking at the commutator.
The POL05-SK10 service kit supplies a matched pair of brushes as specified for the POL05 motor (item 48 on the parts diagram).
Fitted at the right time, fresh brushes help protect the armature and stator, while restoring smooth electrical contact so your polisher can get back to dependable daily work in the workshop or detailing bay.
