When an impact wrench feels weak, slow to spool up, or rough under load, the air motor is often the culprit. The rotor and cylinder form the core of that motor—where air pressure is converted into rotation. If these surfaces are worn or scored, the motor loses efficiency, power drops and heat increases. The AirCraft AT0004-SK05 rotor and cylinder service kit replaces the key air motor components (reference 16, 17, 19–21 and 24), helping your AT0004 return to strong, smooth performance with better sealing and stable alignment.
Rebuild the motor core for real performance recovery
The cylinder provides the sealing surface for vanes, while the rotor carries the vanes and transmits torque through the drive. Replacing worn rotor/cylinder components can dramatically improve efficiency—especially when the tool has seen heavy daily use or has run with poor lubrication.
