Returns / Exchange Policy

Our policy lasts 7 days. If 7 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately, we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.
Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Consumable goods, such as toner cartridges; CD’s and DVD’s; Software; and other items cannot be returned. Please refer to the product page for more info on non-refundable items.

To complete your return, we require an invoice number or proof of purchase.
You can lodge a return via the “Refund / Warranty Request”
Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.
Please note that if your item has been opened; is not in its original packaging; has content missing/damaged; we reserve the right to deny a refund on said product or charge a handling fee (determined upon inspection of product) at our discretion.

Refunds (if applicable)

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.
Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Sale items (if applicable)

Items which have been purchased on sale and deemed fit to be refunded, will be refunded on the sale price of the said item and not the current market price.

Exchanges (if applicable)

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at sales@pekopetroleum.co.za Returns of items with damage to any barcode, serial number or identification number will not be accepted.

Gifts

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be emailed to you.
If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return.

Shipping

To return your product, you should courier your product to the address as stipulated in the email received by our support team.
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of shipping will be deducted from your refund.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.
If you are shipping an item over R4500, you should consider using a trackable courier service or purchasing courier insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

Warranty

All warranties are covered by the manufacturers themselves and dealt with in the same way as if this item is purchased from an authorized retail outlet. No Warranty from damage from natural disaster No Warranty if the serial number label is missing, damaged or tampered with.
All warranties are with the manufactures / distributors of the products and is not with Peko Petroleum (Pty) Ltd
All goods sold by Peko Petroleum (Pty) Ltd, carry a minimum of 1-year Carry-in warranty with the manufacturer’s
Peko Petroleum (Pty) Ltd, will repair, replace or refund any product deemed to be faulty if reported within 7 days after acceptance of goods

Manufacturers must be contacted directly for warranty queries after 7 days of acceptance of goods
Customers who wish to make a warranty claim must comply with the manufacturer’s instructions and warranty procedures

“Errors and Omissions Excepted” simply means that every care is taken to ensure that all information on this website is present and correct, but there may still be errors on this website. If you find an error or omission, please let us know, and we will correct it as soon as possible after verification. We apologies for any inconvenience that may be caused, but due to the vast amount of products listed, we cannot always offer the exactly described product at the specified price if errors and / or omissions are present. We will not be held liable for any claims or damages caused by errors and omissions so it is advisable to check both specification and pricing before ordering or using information provided on this website.
